Staff were so friendly and helpful. Always had a smile and engaged in conversation. Not pushy or overbearing, but just really pleasant and helpful when needed. Room was a great size with kettle, fridge, tea, coffee etc. Great having a bit of extra space with the sofa. Didn't use the TV but it looks like a smart TV and is a great size. Bathroom and shower all good. Bed was huge and very comfy in the middle. The price and value for money is great for London and hotel prices in the current market. The location is also fantastic. A minute from Aldgate east tube station with the district line, and 10 minutes walk from Whitechapel. All in all a fantastic stay. Rohan, in particular at the reception desk was brilliant, great advice on places to go for food and lovely to chat to too.

This hotel was everything I could hope for, I think. Nice and professional, comfortable and clean, with good service and amenities. The location is the big thing though - situated at the end of Brick Land, two steps from the Underground, on the border between the city and the more residential areas, walking distance to both Shoreditch and The Tower and even the south bank - for us, this is a perfect area to stay in. The nice staff was able to accomodate my wish to get a room with a view and the view from the 6th floor was quintessential London: graffiti and derlilict buildings paired with hyper modern sky scrapers - love it!

Location was perfect and the evening staff when we got back to the hotel later in the evening were extremely helpful. Also the lady on the waffle machine on the Saturday morning was lovely. I particularly liked the text service - as we came to go to a concert at the London Stadium and being able to text meant we knew we could order food on our return which was helpful.

Room was lovely and clean and the staff were very attentive. Breakfast was fantastic , the only thing I would say was for the capacity there could do with more coffee machines though the staff did try to keep on top of the queues for drinks by making the coffee in the machine behind the counter.

The room was very nice and clean, and the staff was very helpful. The breakfasts were tasty, although not very varied. The room had a safe, a large TV, an iron and ironing board, and a coffee set and a fridge. We liked that very much.
